We arrived at Haneda on time, around 5.30 am and took the train to Shinagawa, and from there the Shinkansen to Okayama. We change at Okayama to a local train to Chayamachi and then to a local train to Uno, arriving about 11 am. We leave the bags at the hotel and go for a walk.
Today we’re off to Naoshima, one of the two ‘Art Islands’ we’re here to visit (and Teshima tomorrow). After breakfast, we head to the ferry terminal for the 20 minute ride to Naoshima.
Today we’re off to the Teshima Art Museum. We take the 8.40 ferry to Kataro (on the northeast of the island) stopping at Ieura (on the northwest of the island) on the way and arriving at 9.20.
